Compare form fields
Compare the content in two form fields. An error message is displayed if users do not enter identical information in both form fields.
File upload
Give your users the option of uploading a file in the form. You can configure the file upload according to requirements, and limit the maximum file size and number of files that can be selected, for example. You can also modify the upload function to allow only certain file types, such as only JPEG or PDF files, for example.
Specify the number of characters
Specify the minimum and/or maximum number of characters for an input field. The form cannot be submitted if the number of characters in the field is too low or too high.
Use JavaScript to validate a form
Create your own validation logic using JavaScript and validate your forms when they are submitted.
Use regular expressions
Use regular expressions to specify the format accepted for an input field. As one example, you can specify that users must enter membership numbers in a particular format.
Validate dates
Use your form to request dates from users. You can specify start/end dates: the date entered must be between these values. You can also define a fixed date range or restrict the date based on the form completion date.
Validate email addresses
Ensure that only valid email addresses are accepted as input for specific form fields.
Validate EU VAT registration numbers
Ensure that a form field can only accept EU VAT registration numbers from a country that you have specified or the form user has selected.
Validate numbers
Ensure that only valid numbers are accepted as input for specific form fields. If necessary, you can also define additional criteria, such as the smallest and largest values that can be entered.
Validate passwords
Include a password field in your form. Define rules for entering a password here: these rules will then be checked when the form is submitted.
Validate payment data
Request payment data from your users form by providing fields for the IBAN and BIC. The form then checks to confirm that IBAN and BIC have been entered in the right format. You can also perform country-specific IBAN and BIC checks.
Validate phone numbers
Ensure that only valid phone numbers are accepted as input for specific form fields. Define additional criteria as required, and restrict the phone numbers that can be entered to specific number types and countries of origin.
Validate postcodes
Ensure that only valid postcodes are accepted as input for specific form fields. You can also specify a country – the postcode entered must then match the national format.
Set number of completed form elements
Set the minimum or maximum number of form elements that must be completed on each page. Navigation to the next page or form submission will only be possible once the required number of mandatory fields has been completed.
